Important notes:

• A researcher from UCM must agree to be your supervisor. He/she will help you prepare your application.
• All Research & Training staff (ES: PDI) can be MSCA-PF supervisors at UCM. Researchers with a PhD and under a temporary contract which covers the whole duration of the Fellowship, at least, are also elegible as supervisors.
• You must contact the prospective researchers directly. If a researcher has published an Expression of Interest, please read it carefully to find out what documents he/she expects from potential candidates.

Expected impact

Proposals under this Action should contribute to the following expected impacts:

• Enhance the creative and innovative potential of researchers holding a PhD and wishing to diversify their individual competences and skills through advanced training, international, interdisciplinary and inter-sectoral mobility while implementing excellent research projects across all sectors of research;
• Strengthen Europe's human capital base in R&I with better trained, innovative and entrepreneurial researchers;
• Enhance the quality of R&I contributing to Europe's competitiveness and growth;
• Contribute to Europe's attractiveness as a leading destination for R&I and for good working conditions of researchers;
• Facilitate knowledge transfer and brain circulation across the ERA;
• Foster the culture of open science, innovation and entrepreneurship.

Eligible Researchers

• At the time of the deadline of the call, researchers shall have obtained a doctoral degree or defended their doctoral thesis.
• Also, researchers need to comply with the mobility rules required in Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Postdoctoral Fellowships (PF): 

Financial Support

• The grant provides an allowance to cover living, travel and family costs.

Applying for a MSCA-PF

1. Your supervisor should be a researcher at Complutense University of Madrid (UCM), who must agree to sponsor your proposal. If you have not contacted anyone yet, you should have a look at our Expressions of Interest services https://oficinaeuropea.ucm.es/eoi-ucm/expression-of-interest  to find groups interested in hosting candidates. First internal deadline - to send candidature to supervisor: approx. July 15, 2021 (Please check the exact date displayed on the corresponding EoI).
2. The European Office offers guidance on the preparation of proposal, as well as offering reviewing services. Second internal deadline - to send the draft proposal to the European Office: August 31, 2021 https://oficinaeuropea.ucm.es/home-eoi
3. The deadline for MSCA-PF-2021 is, provisionally, October 12, 2021 at 17:00 (CET). Results are expected to be sent to applicants by early 2022.
