The Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Panama, through the International Affairs Office, is pleased to inform you about the International Video Contest 2023 organized by the Government of Korea.

Theme

Women, Peace, and Safety in Cyberspace: Impact of Online Gender-Based Violence (GBV) on Women and Peace.

Rules and Eligibility Requirements

• Youths 19-34 years old from all countries are eligible to participate
• The competition is open to individuals and teams; and each individual (or team) can submit only one piece of work

Video Genres

• Not limited as long as the length does not exceed five (5) minutes.
• All types of video content, including documentaries, music videos, movies, promotional videos, campaigns, and animation, are welcome.

Video File Formats

• Submit a file in a video format, e.g., AVI, MP4, etc., with a maximum size of 600 MB.

Video Title

• (Date of submission/YYMMDD)_Participant´s name_Title

Not Eligible Entries

• Works that do not correspond to the theme of the competition or are not in the required format
• Award-winning works from other contests
• Works whose copyright has been sold or is under negotiation for sale to another or a corporation

Participation

• Submit your application form and video via email to [email protected], [email protected] and [email protected]
• The application form (WORD, 22.68 KB) and all other documents must be completed and signed before submission.

Competition Process

Video submission via email --> Evaluation (internal screening and expert´s evaluation) --> Presentation of awarded videos during the conference on November 30, 2023.

Awards

Grand Award, Award for Outstanding Excellence, and Award for Excellence (total prize money is worth 6.5 million won)

• Award winners will be invited as panelist to the 5th International Conference on Action with Women and Peace for a youth session on ¨Women, Peace and Safety in the Cyber Space: Impact of online GBV on Women and Peace¨.
