Objetive

The purpose of the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy Kings Point is to ensure that these people are available to the nation as shipboard officers and as leaders in the field of transportation that will meet the challenges of the present and future

• Maritime Transport
• Maritime System Engineering.
• Marine Engineering.        
• Marine Engineering and Shipyard    Management.   
• Logistics and Intermodal Transportation.
• Maritime Operations and Technology.

General Requirements

• Being Panamanian citizen (birth certificate).
• Must be English language proficiency (written and spoken)
• Must be more than 17 years and not to be over 25 years before July 1, 2016
• To have and / or be nearing completion of studies Bachelor of Science with excellent grades average (minimum 4.0), especially in the areas of trigonometry, calculus, algebra, physics and English.
• Do not suffer from any disease, example asthma, diabetes, blindness, or other.
• Comply with scores of the following tests:
  • MINIMUM TOEFL 560
  • SAT: (Verbal/ Critical Reading 560;
  • Math 560
