Master Degree Program of Educational Management and Policy 2023

The Academic Education Programs sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce of People’s Republic of China are designed to foster high-caliber business officials and managerial personnel for the recipient countries, which was launched in 2008 to offer one-year and two-year master programs as well as three-year doctoral programs. 

I. Program Description

The Master Degree Program in Educational Management of Northeast Normal University (NENU) aims at cultivating educational management specialists with modern management visions, sound academic deposits as well as solid professional skills and practical abilities to solve problems in an innovative way.

II. Educational Plan

For this master degree program, the coursework covers three parts, including compulsory public courses, compulsory courses and optional courses, at least 31 credits in total, including 7 credits for compulsory general courses, 12 credits for compulsory professional courses and at least 12 for optional professional courses. The details about such aspects as category, course title and credit are listed as follows:

III. Financial Aid

The program is financially aided by the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China:

1. All admitted students do not need to pay for tuition, teaching materials, fieldwork, subsidiary for the English-instructed program, and graduation thesis instruction.
2. Free accommodation, one single room for one person, will be provided by the university
3. Living allowance will be provided to every admitted student regularly by the university in line with the standard, 36000RMB/year for master program, and 42000RMB/ year for doctoral program.
4. There is also 3000RMB/person which will be given as a one-off settlement allowance to every admitted student.
5. Comprehensive medical care insurance will be purchased by the university for all admitted students.
6. Free round-trip international air tickets for all admitted students: One-time roundtrip international air tickets for study and one-time round-trip international air tickets for home visit.

IV. Application

1. Recommendation letter given by your working unit to introduce your basic information and express willingness to recommend you to study in China;
2. Two recommendation letters in English or Chinese(The referees can be professors or government officials from central or local government authorities);
3. Application Form for Chinese Government Scholarship (Apply online at https:// studyinchina.csc.edu.cn/#/login/ “Scholarship Application for Students”, print out with signature);
4. A copy of highest diploma and transcripts;
5. Study plan in China (800 words or more);
6. CV in English;
7. A copy of candidate’s passport or other identification;
8. Two recent passport photos, white background, no hat;
9. An official letter of English proficiency, or passing the telephone test by NENU faculty;
10. The Health Form (FOREIGNER PHYSICAL EXAMINATION FORM, PDF 134.95 KB) shall be issued by a local public hospital within one month before the submission of application.
